ABOUT US
COVID-19 is tearing apart people in the world and we can't communicate face-to-face easily now. However, we know that we can communicate with the people and learn about the world more and more "online." So, we decided to start this project called "Connect the World Again by Education." Everyone that speaks English can experience Japanese cultures such as cooking Japanese dishes, Origami, and virtual Kamakura Tour on Zoom, etc. All the programs are organized by Kamakura Gakuen Jr. and Senior High School students, who want to improve their English. If you get the sympathy for this project and love to join us, please check the programs below. You will enjoy the beautiful and wonderful time with the students and feel that you are connecting with the world again.(Naoki Iizuka)

Let’s cook a popular Japanese dish!!!
You can make and eat a Japanese popular dish called Napolitan with us! You need to prepare ingredients of the food, but everything can be made easily!
We will tell you how to make it, so those who are not good at cooking can do it easily! We look forward to enjoying cooking with you.

Let's play shiritori with pictures, make your own original koma(top) from paper, and bamboo dragonfly!!
Koma and bamboo dragonfly are Japanese traditional games.We will tell you about it on the day.
Shiritori is a game using the word that starts with the letter of the end of the word said before.This time, we play only with our own country popular dish names.

Learning enjoyable Japanese with local students
We’re planning to teach you Japanese language using our self-made learning stuffs with an accurate and detailed explanations.
We will first be teaching you Japanese prepositions that will make you write sentences easier and later, past tense and present tense in Japanese.
And we will pick up some sentences from Japanese songs you like and will teach you the grammatical verses and words which are included in it.

Kamakura Tour via Zoom
The students hold virtual Kamakura tour.
We will take you Great Buddha, Hase temple Tsurugaoka Hachimangu shrine, and Houkokuji temple. We can tell you some interesting information about Kamakura. We hope you will enjoy with us!
